Access Islington – council tax enquiries

Due to technical issues, Access Islington is currently unable to help with council tax queries over the phone or at our hubs.

You can still manage your council tax online through My Islington, including viewing your bill and making payments.

We’re working to resolve this as quickly as possible and are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Learn English in Islington

Learn to speak English

To join an English class, come to one of the free English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) advice sessions. A teacher will check your English speaking, listening, reading and writing and then help you to find a class that fits around you. Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available. If you have a baby, we can help you find a class with childcare.

Working with adults who want to improve their English

If you have a group of eight or more learners who are can't access our regular advice sessions, we can come to you to run an advice session.

We also offer lots of other courses, including in English, maths, digital skills, and vocational and employability skills.

If you are interested in learning more about the other courses available and advice on which course is right for you, come along to our drop-ins every Monday during term-time at 1pm at First Steps, Central Library, 2 Fieldway Crescent, N5 1PF.
