Stay safe in very hot weather

Very hot weather is expected for the next few days. A red heat-health alert (the highest level) is in place for London on Wednesday and Thursday.

Hot weather can be dangerous and can cause serious illness. Stay safe and look out for others who may be particularly vulnerable to the heat. Read advice on GOV.UK

Voluntary and Community Sector Partnership Grants Programme 2024-2028

We are committed to ensuring that Islington has a vibrant, dynamic and independent Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS), and to support this commitment we have earmarked funds totalling £2.7 million per annum for the sector.

This fund will be allocated through our VCS Partnerships programme to the VCS organisations in Islington and will support us to achieve our priorities, set in our Islington Together 2030 plan, alongside our early intervention and prevention ambitions, and our vision to make Islington and even more equal borough.
