Access Islington – council tax enquiries

Due to technical issues, Access Islington is currently unable to help with council tax queries over the phone or at our hubs.

You can still manage your council tax online through My Islington, including viewing your bill and making payments.

We’re working to resolve this as quickly as possible and are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you need to speak to someone about council tax, please try again later.

Mail forwarding business registration

If you operate a mail forwarding business in Islington you must register it with us.

Overview

Mail forwarding businesses are businesses that operate virtual offices or accommodation addresses. It is a service where an address is, in effect, rented to a business or individual to use as their own, despite the business or individual not actually being there. Mail will either be collected from the address or forwarded on to another one.

Register with us

There is a one-off registration fee. You can contact us to find out what the current fee is or, alternatively, we will advise you what the fee is upon receipt of a registration application.

Please download the application form and send it to Trading Standards Service, 222 Upper Street, London N1 1XR. Alternatively, you can email the form to trading.standards@islington.gov.uk.

After you register

Once we receive payment, we check the application is suitable before going ahead with the registration.

Change in circumstances

If the name and address of the applicant or the address of each place of business change after registration then you must notify us within 14 days of the change to enable us to amend the registered details.
