This consultation has ended

Start date 29 July 2016
End date 23 September 2016

The 'Planning Obligations (Section 106)' supplementary planning document (SPD) sets out details of policies and regulations relating to planning obligations, information on the level and types of obligations required from different sizes and types of development in Islington, as well as the process for agreeing planning obligations and how this is integrated with the development management process.

The council has published a new draft 'Planning Obligations (Section 106)' SPD to bring its guidance on planning obligations in line with current statistics, policy, guidance, legislation and practice, as well as to provide more detail on the procedure for agreeing planning obligations following the adoption of the Islington’s CIL and Development Viability SPD.

The council is inviting representations on this revised version. The consultation will run between Friday 29 July and 5pm on Friday 23 September 2016. The draft SPD and supporting documents can be viewed online at www.islington.gov.uk/SPDs
