This consultation has ended

Start date 27 May 2019
End date 23 June 2019

Poor air quality is important issue for our residents and visitors and one of the key challenges we face as a local authority. We have a duty to try to address pollution in our borough and work closely with external partners to tackle this problem.

This is your chance to tell us your views on Islington’s Air Quality Strategy 2019 - 2023. We value your feedback on the proposed actions.

The consultation is for the general public as well as the statutory consultees the Secretary of State, the Environment Agency, Transport for London, the Mayor of London, neighbouring authorities, bodies representing local business interests and other organisations.

Improving air quality is a responsibility of us all and it is important that as well as the actions outlined in this strategy everyone understand their role in helping to reduce air pollution.
