The council held a public consultation from 13 December 2021 to 16 January 2022 on the proposals to improve the environment outside Ambler Primary School, on Blackstock Road. We received 222 responses to the consultation.
The proposed improvements included:
- widening footpaths outside the school
- introducing double yellow lines
- installing new artwork co-designed by children
- new planting including trees and green screening at the school.
We have published the results in the consultation report. The report includes detailed results for both Ambler Primary School and Canonbury Primary School, as well as a description of proposed improvements.
The feedback received from the consultation demonstrates that the public generally supports the aims of the environmental improvements proposed at the two schools.
