Hargrave Road Environmental Improvements

Islington Council is proposing to make safety and environmental improvements in the form of a build-out on Hargrave Road

This consultation has ended

Start date 28 June 2021
End date 19 July 2021

We are hoping to implement a build-out on the eastern side of Hargrave Road extending from the Junction with Holloway Road.

Concerns have been raised by local residents regarding cars pulling up and stopping on Hargrave Road on the eastern side. As a solution to mitigate this we have designed a build-out in order to narrow the current one-way system which will prevent cars from pulling up.

We have incorporated various planting in order to provide a more aesthetic and green environment, this will also result in cleaner air and less car pollution for the local residents.
