Stay safe in very hot weather

Very hot weather is expected for the next few days. A red heat-health alert (the highest level) is in place for London on Wednesday and Thursday.  

Hot weather can be dangerous and can cause serious illness. Stay safe and look out for others who may be particularly vulnerable to the heat. Read advice on GOV.UK

Cool spaces

There are local cool spaces that are free and open to everyone. Visit them to rest, drink water and stay cool. Find a cool space near you

Access Islington hubs 

North and South Access Islington hubs are closed due to the hot weather. The Central Hub is open for urgent, in-person support, until 4pm today (Wednesday 24 June) but avoid travelling unless it is essential. 

You can still access our services online and you can call us on 020 7527 2000 if you need to speak to someone.

Partners for Improvement, Tenant Management Organisations and Cooperatives repairs

If you live in a Partners for Improvement, Tenant Management Organisation or Cooperative run property, they may be responsible for some day to day repairs.

Repairs for Partners for Improvement street properties

If you live in a Partners for Improvement (PFI) property you need to contact them for repairs:

  • on 080 0587 3595 during office hours, 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
  • on the Partners website

For out of hours emergency repairs, call 020 7540 4570.

Check if you live in a Partners for Improvement property

  1. Go to our address lookup and fill in your postcode.
  2. Choose your address.
  3. Go down to the 'Partners for Improvement contacts' button and click it.

It will tell you who to contact or that you are not living in a PFI property.

Contract with Partners for Improvement

We are responsible for making sure Partners provide you with housing services in line with the contract they have with us. You can see these contracts in the useful documents on this page.

Tenant Management Organisations and Tenant Management Cooperatives

If your home is part of a Tenant Management Organisation (TMO) or Cooperative (TMC), they will provide some or all of your normal repairs. We carry out any major works.

Contact your TMO or TMC for details on how, when and where you should report repairs.
