Hot weather can be dangerous and can cause serious illness. Stay safe and look out for others who may be particularly vulnerable to the heat. Read advice on GOV.UK

Collections

Check your collection day.

If you can't find collections for your property, it may be because you get the same service as a flat above a shop or business. Please check their collection times instead.

You must place your recycling and rubbish containers at the edge of your property at ground level by 6am on the day of your collection.

Check which containers you should use.

Request containers and bags

Order free recycling containers through your My Islington account. You can get:

  • green boxes for mixed recycling

  • secure food waste recycling container for outside your property

You can also:
