Childcare bursary
The childcare bursary helps parents who are starting work, a work placement, or short-term training to pay for childcare. It also helps parents who are increasing their hours of work and those starting up a business.
Islington’s Childcare Bursary will be ending from April 2025 and applications have now closed.
Parents looking for childcare support when starting work can request help via their Universal Credit journal or visit their local Jobcentre to ask for an appointment to discuss the Flexible Support Fund.
