If your child is due to start secondary school, you must apply online.

Our secondary schools have a lot to be proud of. They work hard to deliver positive outcomes for every pupil in our schools.

In 2024, students in Islington did better than students in other parts of the country in GCSEs or their equivalent (Key Stage 4). In particular, they got higher scores in English and Maths, and more students passed the English Baccalaureate.

Don’t include private schools in your application.
