Access Islington – council tax enquiries

Due to technical issues, Access Islington is currently unable to help with council tax queries over the phone or at our hubs.

You can still manage your council tax online through My Islington, including viewing your bill and making payments.

We’re working to resolve this as quickly as possible and are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you need to speak to someone about council tax, please try again later.

Disabled facility grants

If you have a disability and need facilities or adaptations to your home, you may be eligible for a disabled facilities grant (DFG).

Adaptations can include level access showers, stair-lifts, provision of ramps, adaptations for people with sight, speech and hearing impairments or with a mental disorder or impairment.

Who is eligible

An owner or private tenant can apply for a disabled facilities grant if they themselves have a disability or if they have a disabled person living with them.

How to apply

Call the Information and Access team on 020 7527 2299. Your home will need to be assessed by an Occupational Therapist to determine what adaptations may be needed.
