Paper and cardboard recycling

What paper and cardboard items you can recycle at home.

Put these in your recycling bin:

newspapers, magazines and catalogues
cardboard cartons including foil-lined cartons
telephone directories and business directories
envelopes, including envelopes with windows
junk mail
office paper, including coloured paper
wrapping paper (only if it tears like paper)
books, both hardback and paperback
shredded paper
cardboard including flattened boxes. If large, flattened cardboard boxes don’t fit inside your container, stack them next to your container.
