What plastic items you can recycle at home.

What you cannot recycle at home

Put these in your general rubbish bin. Do not put them in your recycling bin.

  • black sacks
  • bubble wrap
  • foil balloons

  • plastic film wrap (also known as flexible wrapping or soft plastic wrap which is used to wrap bread, fresh salad, dried foods and microwave meals)
  • plastic flowerpots
  • plastic storage boxes
  • polystyrene and styrofoam (packaging trays, beads and disposable coffee cups)
  • toothpaste tubes
  • tupperware containers
